Seaford Head!

Brian Cowie writes

We turned up in weak sunshine. The day was dry and bright, but boy, did the wind blow. Nearly everybody, surprisingly, completed the course and admitted to thoroughly enjoying themselves. The wind was so strong it was blowing trolleys over on a regular basis. Last time we played here 20 players averaged 36.5 points per player. Today we managed 25.25 points per player. Testament to the very much harder conditions. The days winners were:

Nearest the pins

2nd Richard Preston
4th Bryan Foster
10th Roy Lowe
12th Nobody hit the green
16th Terry Penfold
18th Terry Penfold
BF9 Bryan Redley

Hacker Colin Puddephatt
4th Dug Godfrey (BB6)
3rd Bryan Foster
2nd George Lockert
1st Brian Wood (BB9)
