Aggregate Stapleford!
17 October
First Ron Humphrey and Bill Huntley 72 pts
Second Barry Preston and Terry Phillips 70 pts
Third Bill Power and Jack Snape 69 pts
John Bennett reports on some amazing play.
"A very rare two ,on the first for Bill Power using a three iron and a six iron held down a little, followed by a two on the fifteenth, which picture says it all. Well done Bill is that a smirk in the left picture? Jack Snape witnessed it all.
Yet another very happy smile. After playing the game for forty years Don O’Brien finally achieved a hole in one on the fifteenth. With the flag in the middle a sweet seven iron made Don’s day. Sixth place and 63 points, Alex Keating witnessed the moment.
Don will be buying a drink for all the members after the Four Seasons match on Monday 31 October."
